National Academy of Sports Medicine Board of Certification - Certified Personal Trainer Exam
(NASM)
The NASM is administered by Academy of Sports Medicine Board. Today there are more than 300 certifications available to sports medicine, performance enhancement, and fitness professionals. But only the NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification uses the Optimum Performance Training™ (OPT™) method, making it the gold-standard for health and fitness professionals.

You must call at least 3 days before your preferred date of examination. You must attempt the NASM-CPT examination within 120 days from the first day you call up to register.
Exam Fees
The NASM requires a fee of $549.
If you must cancel, you must call PSI/LaserGrade with more than 24 hours notice or you will be charged a late cancellation fee. If you do not show for an exam appointment, you will be required to pay a no show fee..
Exam Format
You will have 2 hours to complete 120 multiple choice questions.
